West Coast Eagles Round 15 Team

With a good chance of a win beckoning some positive changes for the Eagles Sunday home game against Richmond.

West Coast Eagles
B: Mark Nicoski, Darren Glass, Ryan Davis
HB: Brett Jones, Beau Wilkes, Andrew Embley
C: Michael Braun, Daniel Kerr, Quinten Lynch
HF: David Wirrpanda, Ashley Hansen, Brad Ebert
F: Mark LeCras, Adam Hunter, Josh Kennedy
Foll: Dean Cox, Matt Priddis, Steven Armstrong
I/C: Tim Houlihan, Eric Mackenzie, Ben McKinley, Jamie McNamara, Will Schofield, Adam Selwood, Tyson Stenglein

In: Braun, B. Jones, Kennedy, MacKenzie, Wirrpanda
Out: Jaymie Graham, Brent Staker

Braun, Brett Jones, Kennedy and Wirrpanda have been named in the starting 18 with Jaymie Graham and Brent Staker making way. At least two other changes will be made, with some players still under an injury cloud - Kerr, Brett Jones, Wirra.

Future is not looking good for Staker and Graham - both omitted again from the team and I reckon the writing is on the wall for them as I stated in my 2/3rds season reviews.

Great to see Kennedy back in for his 6th game as an Eagle along with Michael Braun who will in all likelihood be playing his last game in the blue and gold.

  1. I think Staker would offer interest as trade bait, I think Sydney would be interested in him as he is a NSW boy…

I also think that the Eagles have a real chance to win this game with Richo out. Their midfield is not the strongest and it will be a good chance for our young Eagles (McNamara, Ebert etc) to get some confidence.

I would prefer to see Kennedy and Hunter play CHF and HFF with Hansen deep in the goal square..

  2. MacKenzie, Schofield and McNamara are the other outs.

  3. I am surprised why they do not play McNamara as much, he imo shows more than Houlihan and Ebert…

  4. Don’t mind Houlihan - I like his run. And Ebert is still finding his feet and will be better over time.

But I agree McNamara always shows something I reckon. It could be his disposal that lets him down and maybe that’s why he’s in and out.

Reckkon he’d be a chance for next week though. Sheeeesh.

  5. Huh even you and I are as chance next week
