NAB Challenge: West Coast Eagles vs. Collingwood in Albany

Andrew Embley and Daniel KerrThe West Coast Eagles next pre-season outing takes the boys down south to Albany to tackle Collingwood.

After a good hit out last week at Subi, this weekend is another opportunity for the Eagle’s youngsters to impress.

To this week’s team come Cox, Embley, Braun, & Waters.

Glass, Hunter, Priddis, Selwood, Kennedy, Lynch and Nicoski have been rested from this week’s 24 man squad.

See the full squad here.

The game starts at 2pm on Saturday if you’re keen to go down or if you live in the area. Members can get in for free (show your ticket) or $20 for Adults / $12.50 concession (see here for where you can get them - no gate sales). The game will be held at North Albany’s (ironically named) Collingwood Park.

  1. Dubai then Albany, this is more travel than Collingwood does in the real season. I hope the Eagles give them a real working over and that you guys come out injury free.

  2. Members get in free eh? Bet the ground staff would have conniptions if 10,000 Eagles members showed up waving their cards. I heard that the match is sold out, with a capacity of 7,500 or so …

  3. Spot on about the Collingwood’s travel - pity it’s not when it matter though. Would prefer to see Collingwood doing those sort of km’s during July or August :)
