West Coast Eagles 2007 Draft Recap
West Coast Eagles made 4 selections at the 2007 NAB National Draft, picking up three midfielders and an exciting key position prospect.
3. Chris Masten (East Fremantle, 180cm, Inside Mid)
13. Brad Ebert (Port Adelaide Magpie, 188cm, Medium Mid)
20. Tony Notte (Swan Districts, 195cm, Tall Forward)
22. Scott Selwood (Bendigo, 185cm, Medium Mid/Defender)
At various times all were predicted to go top 15, so it has proven to be another fruitful draft for the Eagles. The midfield pick-ups of the highly rated Masten, SA U-18 captain Ebert and the versatile Selwood (yes, brother of Adam, Troy and Joel) and complimented by the athletic, sticking fingered Notte. All are highly credentialled and present for an exciting future for the club.
The Pre-season and Rookie Drafts provided the Eagles with yet more quality pick-ups - 7 in all.
