An event trade period concluded with a number of outs, one in and some upgraded draft selections in the 2007 NAB National Draft

Chris Judd was traded to Carlton for Josh Kennedy and selections 3 and 20.
Mitch Morton was traded to Richmond for selection 35
Selection 35, along with selections 30 and 64 were traded to the Western Bulldogs for selection 22

As a result, Judd and Morton have left the club, Kennedy has joined the club and the resultant selections at the 2007 NAB National Draft will now be 3, 13, 20, 22 (and 54 if required).

Kennedy has a strong upside and could develop into a quality key position player and four selections in the top 22 in strong draft is a good result for the future of the club.
