It was great to hear some fighting words from Tony Micale in the lead up, saying the boys are up for it and ready to “make a statement”.
One change for the Eagles. Out goes the frenchman, Mark LeCras and in comes Daniel Kerr.

Meanwhile the return of the banished bad boy Ben Cousins seems to be coming more imminent with each passing sports report. He’s met with the Eagles’ match committee and has been filmed training with former kicking coach Murray Cowper. But still no return date.
I don’t expect a date for some time, but the softening up these leaks provide the public are a sign, I think, Cousins will definitely be back this season.

what a game aye! we aboslutely dominated in the 1st quarter, having 10 shots at goal to 1. however, we backed off the pressure in the later stages of the game, and that’s when the bombers began to soar.
i get a kick watching games like this, especially in the 4th quarter, where you can not predict what will happen. it killed me when the siren went off, when we were so close to geeting a score. i don’t think i’ve felt that disappointed in a loss since the 2005 grandfinal.
we should have won it, but in the end, the opposition came out on top.
but bloody oath, i love the west coast eagles :]
