Walls on Cox

On last night’s On The Couch we hit new lows in Robert Walls’ hatred of all things Eagles.

Walls got all excited about Adam Cooney’s bump on Dean Cox, which as we know broke the big man’s collarbone. We know Walls hates the Eagles and took the opportunity to get stuck in again last night with our teams loss to the Dogs (you know the term “forward structure” got a fiar airing). But he took his hobby horse to a new low when he excitedly commented on Cox’s injury by saying “well done to Cooney” for his injury-afflicting bump.

Are you serious?!?

Congratulating players on injuring opponents - regardless of the fact Cooney intended nothing of the sort - is a pretty sick way of commenting on the game.

I wonder why Walls didn’t congratulate Leon Davis for the way he went in hard against Chris Newman on Sunday? “Well done Leon for being tough” would’ve no doubt got a wonderful response from the Tiger fans (and all other rational footy fans) if he did.

Ha - the same guy who calls for Connolly’s sacking one week then tells him not to listen to the media and get on with his job the next? Surely not.

  3. Carny, as a lawyer, you would want to be careful not to slander all those frauds out there…

I’m not sure Walls is as good as most people think he is you know…
