Ex-Eagle treats top tenor
Luciano Pavarotti, opera belter and extremely large unit to boot, whilst recently in Perth for a concert managed to have some trouble with his (long suffering) back. In his time of need on the west coast who did he turn to but none other than former Eagles player, runner and Physio John Annear.
It turns out JA worked a minor miracle on the big man and soon had a ticket in hand to join the tenor’s for the rest of his world tour. So what was JA’s trick? Apparently a bit of pool work followed by a kick of the footy in the park.
Now, the sight of such a large man, and a pretty famous one at that, kicking a football with a former Australian football player in a Perth park would have been one to behold, but at least it worked, unlike some of the methods employed by previous physios.
